Chris and Amy relocated to Mount Pleasant from Winston-Salem, N.C., in 2012 to open a Fleet Feet Sports in the town they have always considered one of their favorites. Chris had previously spent 20 years in the hospitality and private country club industry, which gave him the opportunity to live in many areas around the country. However, he looks to make Mount Pleasant his final stop. Bringing Fleet Feet Sports to Mount Pleasant gives him the opportunity to combine his passions of running, customer service and helping people achieve their fitness goals.
Amy has worked as a nurse for more than 15 years, first in the hospital setting and then moving into home healthcare, where she is currently in a management position. She has been a group exercise instructor for more than 10 years and is certified in both Aerobics & Fitness Association of America and Les Mills. Before moving to Mount Pleasant, she held the position as Group Exercise Coordinator for a local YMCA back in Winston-Salem. Her true passion is helping others reach their health and fitness goals.
Chris and Amy have three children, Savannah, a student at Appalachian State University, Delaney, a student at the University of South Carolina, and Braden a student at Moultrie Middle.
Together, they have an ambition to make an impact in the local community by supporting friends and neighbors on their journey to a healthier lifestyle with Fleet Feet Sports being the starting point.
